As a member of the Artesign research group my most recent work - a firescreen - for the exhibition "Room with a View" at Duff House, Banff, was produced in response to the fantastic Robert Adams fireplace in the North Drawing Room. The firescreen is made from copper and brass and incorporates fibre optic cyan coloured lights. |

The group is planning future work - our next exhibition is in Naples in October, and will again be a response to the site, exploring the differences and similarities between design and fine art: issues of function, presence, technology, context. |
An exhibition of work (from 1993-1998) took place concurrently with the lecture. |
